How To Survive The Rainy Season



Have you experienced being stranded in your office, company building, streets and inside your house because of heavy rain and flood?.



This usually happen to those who work at BPO companies, hospitals, military, police force. That's why these people are often branded as "immortals”





My husband works as a CSR, when almost every regular offices are suspended, they are still advised to go to work due to the fact that the customers whom they provide their services are often in the US. 
Few days ago , when monsoon rains started hitting the country he still went to work even if there is flood and heavy rain . I was in surprise when he arrived the next day soaking wet even if he had brought an umbrella and jacket with him.

That’s why we have these few tips and items to help us get by, during the rainy season

1. Pair of socks, T shirt, dry shorts and face towel-
 so you can change and keep yourself dry and avoid catching cold

Extra Undergarments and medicine
- it will always be helpful to keep you dry and you’ll never know when you’ll need your meds, so always keep themedicine.

Pair of slippers or boots
this can give you flexibility with your journey to the flooded roads to work

Crackers/Biscuits/Candies
 being stranded is not an easy thing always pack something to munch on when you know you can’t go to a convenient store to grab a bite due to flood and heavy rain

Bottled Water

Dehydration kills!, It does!, make sure to have a bottled water ready anytime 

Umbrella 
You’re not waterproof, this is totally essential especially on your way to work

GreenCross Alcohol and Safeguard soap

After dipping all day to flood water, wash your feet, hands and have it sanitized

Towel

It’s always better to have something to wipe the rain water.

If you are staying at home be sure to have all the things you need to survive just in case you can't go out because of flood.

1.Clean Water
- this is very important 

2. Rice, instant noodles, Canned Goods, Biscuits/ Crackers

3. Candles/ Flashlight
- during rainy days or typhoons, be ready for electricity loss

5. First Aid Kit
One of the key essentials in surviving

6. Vitamin C
- You have to boost your immune system during rainy season to avoid colds and flu

7. Insect Lotion Repeseason
- Mosquitoes are everywhere. And getting dengue virus and mosquito

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

  Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody!
