A Box of Sweetness from TryingHard Minimalist Mom #MBPGiftSwap

Christmas is one of my favorite holiday of the year. For me it is the most wonderful time of the year in which it also has the longest preparation for every celebrations each year and most anticipated as well. But behind all the celebration, Christmas is the season of giving and sharing.

Every Christmas I only wished for one thing, and that is for our family to be complete and We can eat Noche Buena together which is very rare to happen. My husband works even on holidays and his work schedules is very unpredictable but we always ensure that before he goes to work on Christmas eve, we already have celebrated it together.

This year, I am very thankful for all the opportunities and blessings that I have received and for all the people that I met and became my friends.

Last week, a package addressed to my name arrived in my mom's address. I was so excited to open it, and to know who it came from, when I took the package, my heart fluttered and filled with joy to know that it came from my  #MBPGiftSwapPartner

I carefully opened the package and with my surprise it was a box of Ferrero Rocher  from Mommy Mel, author of  tryinghardminimalist.com.

This brightened my day and made me smile because I have been craving for chocolates and it also plays a great role in making our life sweet and also contributes for you to have a good night sleep, this is also one of my stress busters and comforts me when I feel down.

I also received an email from her telling me a little bit about their lovely family.

Mommy Mel just gave birth to her 2nd child and she's still on bedrest. I really appreciate her effort to send me a box of chocolate as a Christmas gift. She also loves and craves for sweets like chocolates but because of her condition she managed to refuse the temptation and gave up the privileges to eat and enjoy a box of Ferraro Rocher.

While I'm munching this yummy Ferrero from  mommy Mel. I decided to check and stalk at her blog. i was curious what is a minimalist ,how hard to be one and what lifestyle they have. And while I started to browse and check her old and new post. I found a lot of great tips and learned how to live a simple yet happy life.

We’re an ordinary family from Philippines and to be honest there’s really nothing special about us and with what we do but, we have a special and yet ambitious goal – to fully enjoy our lives together – by owning less, controlling our wants, keeping things around us simple, reducing waste, blessing more people and getting a really good night’s sleep with loads of hugs and cuddles.

Tigdas/Measles: Mga Sintomas, Pagkain at Lunas

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
