The Taste of Palawan Chaolong Without The Travel Cost





Hi lovelies!
The Kitchen Mom is again out of the little kitchen for a food hunt here in the south. Bacoor, Cavite is just a few minutes travel from our house and this is where my food journey took me.

Have you heard of the famous Palawan Chaolong? For sure people who already visited Palawan got the chance to taste Chaolong. Since I still don't have the luck to visit Palawan, I've been very curious to try their famous "Palawan Chaolong" and to do this I decided take part together with few co-bloggers to visit a store in Bacoor Cavite. Oh yes! You read it right, You can now savour the authentic taste of the Palawan Chaolong ( Vietnamese Rice Noodles ) without getting broke. And without the hassle of travelling far.

Perhaps some of you may be curious as I am about this "Chaolong " that I'm talking about.

Is an original recipe of one of the owner. He also use Vietnamese Rice noodles and vegetables and a secret seasoning for this dish.

Chaolong is a Vietnamese noodles that is a famous dish in Palawan which tourist always make sure to eat whenever they visit the place.

When Vietnamese refugees came to Palawan they decided to make a noodles with sweet broth. This noodles are always freshly made every morning
Until it become one of the famous dish to try in the island of Palawan.

A lot of people who visited the Palawan and had the chance to try the Chaolong Noodles still craves for it when they go back in Manila.




Same thing with Ms.Arriane and her family who are a native Palawenos. They crave for the Chaolong noodles when their family moved in Manila. They spent money in finding and going to a place here in Manila where they serve Chaolong Noodles. For the love for food, missing their hometown and thinking of satisfying their tastebuds. They decided to put up their own store .
They called it D' Master Chaolong Noodles Haus.

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

  Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season.
