Barlico : The Healthy Coffee Alternative Drink

Are you a coffee lover like me? As a stay home mom, I usually wake up around 6:00 in the morning. The first thing I do is go straight to the kitchen, get my favorite mug and prepare my favorite 3 in 1 coffee, do I need to name the brand? maybe I'll just keep it secret.
Being a coffee lover for almost a decade now. I noticed that I always suffer from acid reflux and palpitation but I just ignored it since every time I drink my favorite brand of coffee I feel so energized. Few weeks ago, I was sick. I have difficulty in breathing and I'm having a hard time to burp. The doctor advised me to stop drinking coffee. I said to myself " can I really make it each day without taking or drinking my favorite cup of coffee?' I feel like " I'm doomed "

But I guess there's always a solution for every problem. Last week, I attended a product launch of this new caffeine free drink, Barlico which is made from Barley. Barley is well known to have a lot of health benefits.

4 Variants of Barlico

Barlico Instant ( 3 in 1 ) (barley, chicory, non-dairy creamer, and sugar)
Ohh, I love 3 in 1, is this the answer to my craving for my coffee? I was so excited to try this one. It's not too sweet like to usual 3 in 1 that is available in the market, taste is quite similar to my old coffee, the aroma is way better than other 3 in 1 brand.

Barlico Cappucino ( Barley, Chicory, Foam Creamer)
It has a nice aroma and a bit of foamy, Not sweet. This is one of my highly recommended if you like to try a much healthier drink than other Cappuccino that comes in a sachet.

Choco Barlico  ( Barley, Chicory, and instant hot Chocolate )
this variant is perfect for the chocolate lover. It has a rich chocolate taste. For me, the sweetness is just right, perfect for breakfast.
Kids and kids at heart will love it

Barlico  (Barley and chicory)
This variant has a strong taste. The aroma was great.

I've been drinking the Barlico Instant (3 in 1 ) for 2 consecutive days. I noticed that I don't have an acid reflux, I still feel energetic even without my old favorite cup of coffee. Difficulty in breathing and palpitation was gone. My daughter drinks the Choco Barlico and they love it.

Barlico will soon be out in the market nationwide. As of now, you can order the 4 Variants of Barlico on their Facebook page or you can send me a private message so we can order together. Yes, you read it right, I'm planning to buy some Barlico for my family.

Woah! That's so cool. I'll have to let my mom know about this. She's been trying to kick her coffee habit for years now, but has yet to be successful. This seems like a great, and healthy, alternative.

When I first saw the title, I thought, well more and more research says coffee IS healthy so why do I need an alternative. But obviously if you have heartburn and palpitations, this makes perfect sense! What a cool idea. I can totally relate to the morning coffee ritual. I steam my half and half and pour a single espresso shot every morning and it's the best part of my day, haha. So much so that I tattooed a cappuccino on my foot. Ha! But I'm totally interested in trying this alternative!

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
