Rainy Day SOUPrise with Prime Mom Marian Rivera



What is the perfect dish to serve in this rainy weather? If you answered Soup then we have a the same thing in mind. A nice warm soup on a rainy day can really make our body warm up and set us in a good mood. As a mom, I definitely make sure to have some yummy soup in this kind of weather.


But what kind of soup do you prepare for your family?
Vegetable soup is one of the favorite dishes that I always prepare for my family and it will not be complete without our favorite mushrooms. It is a good thing for a working at home mom like me to have the Easy Opened Canned Vegetables of Mega Prime.

Aside from the cooking demo, we also met the four selected finalist that post their original mushroom soup recipes on their social media accounts. The prepared dishes were judged by Prime Mom Marian Rivera, Chef Nino Logarta, Mr. Marvin Tiu Lim (VP for sales and Marketing of Mega Global) and Mr. Raymond Alegre (Brand  Manager of Mega Prime and New Product Development).

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

  Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year.
