Reward your Mom with what she loves at Marriott Cafe

When is the last time you've said " I love you " and "Thank you" to your mom?
Mothers went through a long hours of labours. They are the one who influence our lives the most. They showed their undying love and support to their children. Sometimes. . . we forget to say " thank you " to the wonderful woman in our lives.
This coming Mother's Day lets show them our love and rewards our moms with what she loves the most.

Marriott Hotel Manila says it’s because she always, if not most of the time, gets things right. For this reason, Marriott stages a fantastic Mother’s Day celebration as a rightful reward she deserves. If you agree to this, come on down to this lavish fete at Marriott Café on May 13, and choose either on brunch at Php 2,900 or dinner at Php 2,700.

Aside from the sumptuous spread to delight her, Marriott is staging a “Price is Right”-inspired game with amazing prizes from brands she adores. Fittingly named as “Mom is Right”, all dining moms will get a chance to bid their best guess on the value of the items from Doña Elena, the no.1 olive oil Filipino brand in the country, of which its premium products are up for grabs. And when their price is correct or the closest, it is theirs to bring home! Shopping is a top thing that every mom loves or is an expert in, so this is a perfect, no-sweat challenge for her.

Now, let’s talk about the extravagant spread that awaits your family: from organic salad, fresh seafood, prime meat and authentic Japanese and Chinese cuisines, there’s something for that discerning taste. Have a dish that personally hits home for you at the DIY (do-it-yourself) stations for gambas, pasta, noodle bowls and teppanyaki. Moms would be fond of choosing her own sauce, ingredients, cooking style, and sweet or spicy level. Feel at home with Filipino entrees like adobo, sinigang, sisig, bulalo, and even halo-halo that goes around to your tables. Over at the dessert, pour out your creativity and affection. Either you create her a crepe plate topped with gelato, nuts or fruits, or scoop all-you-can a gelato into a bowl with fruits, sprinklers and syrup, or get mini slices of cakes to have a vibrant dessert plate. The cherries on top are the new premium a la carte dishes added to their buffet such as seared goose liver, U.S. Certified beef tenderloin, Atlantic cod fillet and macaraibo lava cake for dessert.

For all the right things your mom has done for you, now is your chance to get it right for her. Don’t second guess; grab a table already to this meaningful and fun celebration at Marriott Café.

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
