Shopee Delivers Aid to Typhoon Odette Victims via Shopee Express

  Shopee collaborated with partner brands and utilized its nationwide Shopee Express fleet to dispatch immediate relief MANILA, JANUARY 11, 2022 - Almost a month since Typhoon Odette devastated several provinces in Visayas and Mindanao, millions of Filipinos continue to reel from the aftermath. Groundbreaking Marketing University Upskills NutriAsia’s Organization

NutriAsia and Del Monte team up to donate upcycled school chairs under Share-A-Chair initiativ

Keeping with its advocacies of helping Filipino communities in need and minimizing the impact of plastic waste, NutriAsia, Inc. and Del Monte Philippines, Inc. partnered together to donate upcycled plastic school chairs to several public elementary school This was done through the Share-a-Chair initiative, a program started by NutriAsia and Del Monte in which the companies collect single-use plastic waste from its different offices and plant sites to turn them into school chairs and other needed furniture for underprivileged public schools and communities. It is the culmination of the two companies’ partnership forged to help the Department of Education address the perennial shortage of school chairs. NutriAsia and Del Monte collected 19.3 metric tons of plastic waste from their offices and plants for a period of six months. Part of this collection went to the Share-a-Chair donation of 600 school chairs and teachers’ tables distributed to 12 different partner schools in Bukidnon, Cagay

SM and DSAPI celebrate life with Happy Walk for Down Syndrome

The Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines and SM Cares  organized the 17th Happy Walk for Down Syndrome in celebration of the National Syndrome Consciousness Month. An estimated 6000 attendees compromised of families, schools, supporter, advocates, and SM employees attended the biggest event that share the beautiful and triumphant life stories of people with Down Syndrome and their families which took place at the SMX Convention Center, Manila last February 24, 2019. Happy Walk was an annual activity to promote acceptance,. awareness and inclusivity of persons with Down Syndrome into society. The event also featured performances from children affected with the condition, celebrity performances, and fun interactive booths. There was also a parade around SM Mall of Asia complex  followed after the program allowing children with Down Syndrome,  together with their families, to interact with the shoppers and tenants of SM Mall. THIRTY YEARS OF THE AUTISM ADVOCACY AT ANGELS WALK FOR AUTISM

File photo from last year’s Angels Walk for Autism, held at the Mall of Asia Arena, organized by the Autism Society Philippines in partnership with SM Cares.  The Autism Society Philippines (ASP), together with SM Cares, the Corporate Social Responsibility  arm of SM Prime Holdings, will hold the annual Angels Walk for Autism on March 3, 9:00AM, at the  Mall of Asia Arena. Since it began in 2007, the walk continues to advocate for acceptance,  accommodation and appreciation of Filipinos with autism towards an Autism-OK Philippines. “Although many are aware of autism, very few people actually understand what it means to live life  on the autism spectrum. SM Cares and ASP come together as a community to remind everyone that  autism awareness and acceptance should be part of their everyday lives. Herbalife Family Foundation brings festive cheer to over 200 children at the SOS Children’s Village In the Philippines

 To cap off an eventful year, Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) visited two of its beneficiary organizations under, SOS Children’s Village, to bring the festive cheer to over 200 children. During the visits, HFF Philippines held activities, which brought fun and joy and left big smiles on the children’s faces. As part of the activities, Herbalife donated a total of 250 books to the Batangas and Bataan Villages of SOS through the CASA Herbalife Program, the flagship project of HFF. The books were given by Herbalife independent members and guests via a month-long book collection program organized by Herbalife Philippines, and benefitted 245 children from the villages.
