Philippine Marathoner Set To Conquer North Pole

FWD Life Philippines , one of the fastest-growing insurance company here in the Philippines launched its new campaign " Blaze a Trail in the Arctic " in line with the world's coolest marathon the FWD  North Pole Marathon 2018 . This marathon was recognized by The Guinness World Records as the "Northernmost Marathon on Earth" FWD will sponsor ten runners from Asian countries like Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Vietnam that will take on the extreme challenges and make this as one of their life experience to show their passion and determination. Runners will traverse the 42- kilometer path with an average of -30 degrees centigrade, which will definitely test their will and determination. Louie Sangalang will be representing the Philippines for the FWD North Pole Marathon 2018.  He is a multi-sport athlete who do mixed-martial arts, boxing and triathlons. He is also a proud cancer survivor. Mr. Sangalang was diagnosed with
