Hi Lovelies, Happy Sunday! So what's your plan for today?,  Are you going to stay indoor because of weird weather today?. It's really hot then suddenly it will rain but summer is definitely on. Sunday is a family day for me. So I woke up around 7 am. Chelsea and I went to the market around 9 am . I bought Ampalaya ( Bitter Gourd) and Tokwa ( Tofu) for me to cook for our lunch  and made a surprise summer dessert for them. Its good that i have Jolly products in our kitchen cabinet.  My family loved the dessert that Chelsea and I prepared. This is an easy to prepare dessert which can be prepared in 15-30 minutes. Easy To Prepare Kimchi

Kimchi is always serve as side dish in every korean food. Its like the atshara or bagoong that Filipino love. I enjoyed eating kimchi with rice and pancakes, I decided to make myvown version of a homade kimchi though it's not like the original taste of the Authentic Kimchi, I can say it's the same taste with the one you can buy in the supermarket. Ingredients : 1 small napa cabbage 1/4 salt Water  3 cloves  grated garlic  1 teaspoon grated ginger  1 teaspoon sugar 1 to 2 tablespoons  of water  1 to 5 tablespoons red pepper   Scallions or Onion chives Procedure : 1.Cut the cabbage lengthwise and remove the cores. Cut each quarter crosswise into 2-inch-wide strips. 2.Place the cabbage and salt in a large bowl. Barbeque sauce is one of the thing I always need in my kitchen. My family loves BBQ Meat but I don't usually buy BBQ sauces instead I make my own BBQ sauce at home, but it takes time to make one. So I was very interested when Ms.Louisa Mercado, introduced the San Pedro BBQ Sauce Atbp. The good thing about this new found Sauce is that, I can use it in many ways. I used this Sauce in one of my chicken dish called  Stir Fried Chicken with Bellpepper and Leeks. It was initially an attempt to come up with a small business of selling barbeque on the streets until people started requesting for buying marinated meat whenever the BBQ store is closed.     This triggered the idea of selling the yummy fusion in a bottle. Adobong Sitaw with Breaded Tofu

Lately,I notice that we are consuming too much meat which is really not good for our health.Also I'm on a tight budget right now,so I'm thinking to prepare a meal that my family will love without noticing or asking for meat. Instead of using pork in this recipe I used Tofu. Tofu is also a good source of protein . This is really a super easy recipe . I used the Lee Kum Kee Premium SoySauce. Sunday is always a special day for my family ,that's why I make sure to cook something yummy and new for them. When I was in HongKong,I always cook this dish using the Lee Kum Kee Premium Soy Sauce. Though ,Mike and I ate really a food lover , sometimes there are food that he really doesn't like to try or eat.Same thing with my daughter Chelsea. My Sweet and Sour Pork

I remembered eating Sweet and Sour Pork in one of the nice restaurant in Mongkok,HongKong.  My boss ordered it for our dinner and it was my 1st time to try the Chinese Style Sweet and Sour Pork  and I really liked it. So I  made sure to remember the taste of it in every bite., so I will know what ingredients they use.  After a week I've  tried cooking this dish and may boss said it was similar to taste of the sweet and sour pork that we ordered.. So here is the recipe guys. It's my own version. You can also add pineapple chunks. Ingredients : Marinating the Pork: 1 kl. Pork (Sirloin) 1 tsp. Salt 1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper 1tsp. Filipino Style Chicken Curry

One of my favorite dish since I was a child is the Chicken Curry. I already tasted different kinds of Curry but I really love the Filipino Style of Chicken Curry. The taste ,the aroma is really appetizing.  That's why I make sure to learn this recipe and add a new twist to it Ingredients 1 kilo of Montery Meat Fresh Chicken, (adobo cut ) 2 big Potatoes, chopped 2 medium size Carrots 2 tbsp Garlic, minced 2 medium Onion, chopped 1 small  Bell Pepper, cut into cubes 1 cup Fresh Coconut Milk  4 tbsp curry powder 1 thumb ginger, cut into strips Lemongrass 1 cup water Vegetable Oil Salt and Pepper to taste Instructions Saute Onion, Garlic and Ginger until fragrant Add the Chicken ,and let it brown on both side Put the Carrots and Potatoes Add some water,let it boil for 1 minutes Add the fresh cococnut milk,low heat. Crispy Hot Chicken Wings

I really like crispy and juicy fried Chicken . Here is really an easy and fast way to prepare a fried chicken wings. INGREDIENTS : 7 pcs of Chicken Wings 4 Tbsp. Curry Powder 1 1/2 Tbsp. Rock Salt 1 1/2 Tbsp. Ground Black Pepper 1 Tbsp. Chili Powder 2 Tbsp. Soju 1/2 cup Cream Cornstarch Procedure: Clean the Chicken Wings and Pat I dry using a paper towel. Put the Chicken wings a bowl Add the Salt,Ground Black Pepper,Chili Powder,Curry Powder and Soju. Mix it well. Marinate it for 5- 10 minutes  Add the cornstarch  Heat oil for frying . Cook until golden brown. Serve it hot.

My own version of Kung Pao using Clara OLe Kung Pao Pasta Sauce

In this dish I use Clara Ole Kung Pao Pasta Sauce  guys.. One thing I like about Clara Ole Sauces ,there is no MSG..  This is a very simple and easy to prepare dish. Preparation Time : 20 minutes Cooking time :  15 minutes Cost : Php :118.00 Serving : Good for 6 person     Ingredients : 1. 1 pc. of Chicken Breast ( Cut into cubes ) 2. 1 pc. of Red.Onion ( chopped )  3. 5 pcs. of red chillies       * you can adjust the amount of red chillies. If you don't want it to be too spicy you can just put 2 pcs. of it. 4. 1  Whole Sweet Corn 5. 2 cups of String Beans 6.  Clara Ole KUNG Pao Pasta Sauce     PROCEDURE : 1 .  You have to marinate the chicken.Add  2tbsp of Kikoman Soysauce, 1/2 tsp of Brown sugar, 1 1/2 tsp of Cornstarch, 1 tsp of sesame oil, a dash of salt and pepper.Marinate it for 15 minutes. 2. My grandma really loves to cook but she doesn't eat meat ( pork and beef ). That's why I always remembered her homecooked meal using fish as the main ingredient.
