Nido 3+/5+ empowers parents to say Yes and Let Go!

Is it ok for us parents to be overprotective to our kids? Being protective of your is a child is natural for parents especially for mother's. But I've read that being too overprotected can cause more harm to the child, it increases the child anxiety when they are not allowed to overcome their fear. Honestly, I'm one of the so-called "helicopter mom", I really pay close attention to my children, their problems, emotion, and experiences. I usually say " No" to the things or situation that they might get hurt emotionally and physically. I'm not allowing them to face their fear, learn and enjoy what usually kids love to do. With this being said, I noticed my daughter becoming a little bit aloof and unexpressive when it comes to her emotions and that is the reason that I allowed her to learn things on her own way with proper guidance, and that really turned things around. Like children, parents also should learn to say Yes and Let Go! This is w

Jollibee calls all families to spend time together this joyful Christmas season

The country’s number one fast food chain Jollibee reminds us that amid all the fun activities and many obligations that the holidays bring, Christmas should always be about cherishing and spending time with the people who matter most. Due to the many preparations that need to be done and celebrations that need to be attended to, some people become so busy that they do not get to spend as much time with their families anymore. But even if it’s the most wonderful time of the year, nothing makes Christmas more meaningful and joyful than spending quality time with the family, even beyond the usual Misa Del Gallo and Noche Buena. Family bonding especially during the holiday season fosters a generally happier atmosphere, creates precious and lasting memories, and strengthens deep relationships. Jollibee delivers this message of love during the busiest season through a heartwarming TVC featuring its best-selling Chickenjoy. “This video is our call to all Filipino families to spen

Upgrade your homemade Halloween goodies

The spookiest night of the year is coming up! Soon it’ll be time to slip on fun costumes and hand out all kinds of treats to the kid-sized ghouls, goblins, and ghosts who will come trick-or-treating. Children adore Halloween, the one day of the year famous for its connection to candy and every sweet treat imaginable. But all that sugar isn’t very good for them, and it’s a challenge for parents to come up with tasty treats that are as creepy (or creepier!) than mass-produced chocolate eyeballs and gummy monsters. It’s not impossible, though, to produce treats that are wholesome, tasty, and still thrillingly Halloween-y! One such parent is self-professed travel enthusiast, foodie, and writer Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi. As a mother of two young children, she recognizes that her boys should enjoy the thrill of Halloween just like all the other kids, but also knows that curbing their sweet intake during this candy-crazed holiday is also important. 5 mouthwatering dishes to try at Gelatofix Lifestyle Cafe

There are more than gelato at Gelatofix. If you think you already tasted it all, you better try visiting Gelatofix soon and try their new dishes. Gelatofix Lifestyle Cafe is known for their over-the-top creative gelato creations. This month of October, they are unveiling a new wave of mouthwatering dishes complete with appetizing mains and delicious all-day selection. So I visited their store located at BGC near Seda Hotel. I will make sure not to miss this kind of opportunity to try Gelatofix newest dishes.  Roast Beef with Mushroom Gravy First on the line was the Roast Beef with Mushroom Gravy. The beef was really flavorful, soft and easy to chew, the beef compliments with the rich herb cream sauce, giving another level of taste to the dish. Chicken Parmiagiano . My second choice is Chicken Parmigiano conveniently placed on top of the rice. I love the crispy coating of the chicken on the outside but still juicy and tender on the inside.
