PiTaKa program helps OFW achieve their financial goal

Working abroad is not like taking a vacation out of the country and earn money. It may seem an easy way for you to help your family, but a lot of our Kababayans spend years or decades to save and send money back to their loved ones. As a former OFW, one of the goals that we have is to give our family a better life, give them the things we can't afford, and paint our children's smiles with chocolates. With that mindset, we tend to send them whatever we can, up to the point that there is nothing left for us, and that should not be the case. You don't want to work until you've had enough, you need to set goals, save money and prepare for the future of your family, giving them the things that they wanted is not bad but don't spoil them, your family needs you, more than the toys, fancy clothes and chocolates in the Balikbayan Box. Your return is what they will be anticipating most, so you can spend time and enjoy what you've hardly earned abroad with them.

The Kitchen Mom's 4th Anniversary and Giveaway

We are Turning 4 this year! At first , I decided to start writing on my blog to put my recipe or just to post my mommy adventures. But as day goes by I noticed that there are people who liked reading and visiting my blog. Of course, I was really happy that time, I didn't think that sharing my thoughts and my hobby will help  and inspire people especially mommies. There was a time that I decided to stop blogging and just focus on being a stay at home mom but reading the comments and private messages from mommies makes me decides to continue sharing what I have, what I've  learned as a mom, as a wife, and as a person who also have flaws. That's why I've decided to give back to the community of mothers who has been very supportive since day 1. I decided to have an intimate bonding moment with my mommy readers and followers this coming December. It' s going to be an afternoon of fun, food, drinks, talks and raffle prizes. There are also people and

The entire party a blast with all the kids dressed in their best Halloween Costumes while they were joined by Grimace and Birdie which made the kids and kids-at-heart smile and laugh. No one went home empty-handed as everyone received treats and giveaways for participating in d

Potatoes play a big part in the diet of Pinoys. We use them in a lot of our ulam (viands), we enjoy them for snacks like chips and fries, and they are often our preferred side dish like mashed potato. They are so versatile, and may I add, very nutritious, too! They are packed with vitamins and minerals like Vitamin C, Vitamin B6, potassium, complex carbohydrates, fiber and calcium among others. My daughter who is now in grade school benefits from all the nutritious goodness in potatoes. They are a constant in my pantry because they are very affordable. A win-win! So, I said yes right away when I was invited to the Potatoes USA Cooking Workshop. It was held last October 25 at the Magsaysay Institute of Culinary Arts in Mandaluyong City. Sarah G.’s Secret to Decades of Success: Explore and Discover

The singer-actress has been in the industry for almost two decades now. William Shakespeare once said, “some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon ‘em.” This is something that no doubt applies to Sarah Geronimo, the multi-hyphenated star who is inarguably still one of the brightest personalities in the entertainment industry even after almost two decades of being a part of it. Some would say that Sarah was meant to rule the stage since she was young, but there was a lot of hard work invested in her career as well—something she had shown since childhood. She won the grand prize for the IBC television singing contest Star for a Night at the tender age of 14 and had been unstoppable ever since. Her rise was fast but expected. She broke through the top with new hits and soulful revivals, as well as albums that turned her presence into a form of pop culture on its own. But while her fast rise is something for the books, there’s something

Asia is about Street Food. Aside from being affordable and being readily available to masses, this where most popular street food started, such as dumplings, bubble tea and Milk Tea which are now enjoyed and recognized in different countries. With the recent rise of tourism in Asia, the local street food scene continues to level up its game.
