BDO Prioritizing health of repatriated OFW at PITX

PRIORITIZING HEALTH. Repatriated overseas Filipinos at the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) receive hygiene kits before they go back home to their respective provinces. In coordination with BDO Foundation, BDO Remit turned over hundreds of bags of hygiene kits to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 and the PITX, which were then distributed to overseas Filipinos who were sent back here due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. The repatriated overseas Filipinos, who have already tested negative in the reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests and completed their required quarantine period, were then transported back to their home provinces thru the assistance of OWWA.

Sweet & Strong Red Ribbon Dads: Paul, Doug, and Drew talk about fatherhood during quarantine

It doesn’t come as a surprise that many people rely on the strength of their fathers as the heads of the family.  Some fathers may be goofy, and some may be quiet, but one thing is for sure – dads have that natural ability to bring out the warmest smiles and unyielding courage in everybody within the family. And as we navigate through this trying time, we see our dads carrying on and exhibiting incomparable strength. While their guidance has allowed everyone to remain safe, their sweetness and lighthearted humor have kept the family hopeful and optimistic. This situation is no different for our Red Ribbon dad ambassadors, Doug Kramer, Paul Soriano and Drew Arellano, who by their time spent indoors allowed them to cement their position as the steadfast pillars of their families, all while keeping a cheerful and cared-for household. Doug Kramer has been spending much of his time as a parent recently, with him retiring from PBA November 2019, and his kids home-schooling for th

LG gives support to our Frontliners in the battle against COVID-19

"Malasakit" is one of the best Filipino traits that spread throughout the country during the community quarantine. Everyone tried to help our fellow Filipinos especially our brave Frontliners in their little ways to show their gratitude and support for them, it was more contagious than the virus itself in a positive way that people from all walks of life contributed and even big companies exerted wonderful efforts to help. Among our Frontliners, our nurses, doctors, and other medical practitioners were the one fighting face to face with the virus and risking their lives to give hope to the patients that have been infected by COVID-19, but more than the salutes and praises, they needed equipment and support to carry on their mission to save more lives.
