Si AJ at ang Sitio Malabon

Last Wednesday, Nov 2,2016. We went to Sitio Malabon in Salawag, Dasmarinas Cavite to visit one of my Auntie. The rain and gloomy weather wasnt able to stop us .
Sitio Malabon is like a rural place in a city. No electricity,No Internet Connection,Muddy Road during rainy season ,tall grasses ,trees and fresh air.

Going to this place is like we are going to a mountain or deserted place.
The rain and the muddy road  is really the hardest part.

Meron part matarik or pababa ang dadaanan which is napakadelikado kung wala ka mahahawakan.

Puro putik ang damit ko and I have to change clothes kase basa din kami ng ulan.

After ko magpalit ng damit.I sat down sa upuan sa labas ng pintuan ng bahay.
I saw one of my cousin na nag-iigib ng tubig at may dala-dalang container and  pinipilit I balance ang katawan para di madulas.

I was thinking ,pano ang mga batang estudyante na napasok sa paaralan. May iba ba silang dinadaanan? May baon ba silang damit pampalit ? Pano nila nakakaya lumakad at dumaan sa maputik na kalsada araw-araw?
All of these questions were answered when I saw AJ's photos

AJ is the eldest son of my cousin Len-Len. AJ is a grade 1 student. Talking to this 7 yrs.old kid ,he is like an adult kapag nagsasalita. He takes care of his younger siblings when her mother needs to go to work. Her mom works 2 days a week and whenever she got her pay,she make sure to budget it for the whole week.
Knowing that they only have their mom to support him and his 2 more sibling. He always make sure to help her mom with he household chores and taking care of his siblings.
AJ  wakes up  4 °clock in the morning to prepare for school, they need to go and start walking by 5°clock in the morning to make sure that they won't be late for school.

I can't imagine how they manage to do this everyday during the rainy season. The muddy and slippery road is very dangerous for their age but like her mother told me there's no other way or route to take going to school.

The muddy and slippery road in Sitio Malabon

This is where their clean their muddy feet

Will visit again AJ and his family soon.

Tigdas/Measles: Mga Sintomas, Pagkain at Lunas

Dengue is Real, Keep Your Child Safe with OFF! Lotion

Our Family is always our top priority. It was September of 2015 when my daughter was hospitalized and turned out to be positive for Dengue, as a mom I was so scared. Nurses always come in to our room every 6 hours to get blood sample from my daughter for them to monitor her platelet count.  It was an unpleasant sight for me to see my daughter in that condition at her young age. When my daughter cries due to the pain of needle inserted to her skin, it was a more painful scene and sound for me, wishing that all of what I see and hear are not real, it was really heart breaking. It was that same month in which Dengue case was really prominent and a lot of kids are being rushed to the same hospital to be treated, we stayed in the hospital for more than a week for my daughter's recovery and since then, I always said to my self "Never Again" that I will allow this to happen and was thankful to God that she guided my daughter Before our stay in the ho...
