SM for MSMEs Strengthens Support for Women Entrepreneurs Through WomenBizPH
Discover women-led Filipino
brands through WomenBizPH
Every business starts
somewhere, and for a lot of women entrepreneurs, it starts small: an idea, some
savings, and enough stubbornness to see it through. What often follows is a
good product with nowhere to be seen — the hardest part isn't making something
worth buying, it's getting anyone to notice.
Women-led enterprises proudly showcased their local
products at the Women Strong Trade Fair held at the Fashion Hall of SM Megamall
last year.
Where and When
SM Supermalls, through SM for
MSMEs, is deepening its partnership with WomenBizPH to give women-led
businesses that visibility. This August, the Women Strong Network Hybrid Trade
Fairs land at SM Megamall and SM City Cebu, with SM City Lucena and SM City
Zamboanga to follow.
From proudly local delicacies to globally competitive
designs, the fair is a continuous celebration of women's ingenuity, resilience,
and contribution to nation-building through enterprise.
More Than a Marketplace
The fairs aren't just booths
and foot traffic. They're built to give women entrepreneurs a place to
introduce their brands to new customers, trade notes with other business
owners, and pick up real opportunities to grow.
Behind every booth is a woman with a dream, a purpose,
and a story worth sharing. Through WomenBizPH and SM for MSMEs, women
entrepreneurs are given greater opportunities to showcase their brands, reach
new customers, and continue building businesses that inspire communities
nationwide.
The SM Megamall leg alone
brings together entrepreneurs from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao — a fair spread
of Filipino craftsmanship and regional creativity under one roof.
Visitors can discover a curated selection of proudly
Filipino brands featuring handcrafted fashion, woven textiles, artisanal food,
wellness products, accessories, jewelry, home dΓ©cor, and lifestyle essentials.
Each three-day fair runs beyond
shopping hours too, with business talks, keynote sessions from government and
industry leaders, exhibitor pitches, networking sessions, fashion showcases,
and recognition programs built in to give participants something to walk away
with beyond sales.
In Their Own Words
“Women entrepreneurs continue
to drive innovation, create livelihoods, and strengthen communities across the
country. Through our partnership with WomenBizPH, we hope to provide more
opportunities for women-led businesses to gain greater visibility, connect with
more customers, and continue growing,” said Joaquin L. San Agustin, Executive
Vice President for Marketing, SM Supermalls.

Strong Trade Fair in SM Lanang.
“Empowered women empower women.
And when women come together to support one another in business, innovation and
impact follow,” said Mylene Abiva, Board Secretary, WomenBizPH.

The partnership fits into SM
Supermalls' longer-running commitment to micro, small, and medium enterprises
(MSMEs) — giving entrepreneurs an accessible platform to showcase their
products, build customer relationships, and reach a wider market through the
country's mall network.

Behind Every Booth
For shoppers, there's more on
offer than unique products. Every booth carries a personal story — courage,
perseverance, and purpose behind every handcrafted item, homemade delicacy, or
original idea someone decided to build a business around.
Together, women entrepreneurs from different
communities and industries come together to celebrate collaboration,
resilience, and the growing community of women-led Filipino businesses.
Every purchase, every
conversation, and every discovery ends up supporting women entrepreneurs who
are creating livelihoods, keeping local craftsmanship alive, and strengthening
their communities in the process.
Whether you're hunting for a
thoughtful gift, something proudly Filipino, or your next favorite local brand,
the Women Strong Network Hybrid Trade Fairs are worth the visit — for the
products, and for the women behind them.
