The typical Valentine’s day includes flowers, chocolates, teddy bears, heartfelt love letters and surprises – all efforts were mostly from a man, given to a very lucky woman. On the contrary, in Korea, women are the ones giving chocolates to men as a sign of love. Traditionally, men that receive these gifts will then give a gift in return on the following month to which they call “White Day”. This is a perfect way to let your man know that they too are indeed important on Valentine’s day.
