SM Southmall Halloween Special presents THE WALKING DEAD



This Halloween ,get your survival mode on as SM Southmall, premier mall of the South metro,presents The Walking Dead Halloween Special. In cooperation with Sky Zone and FOX Entertainment, the four- day event features  a Zombie -Infested maze, roaming zombies and lits of treats and goodies



The event is open until October 31, 2016. Test your survival skills at the Road To Alexandria,an Alexandria- prototype maze filled with meat - devouring zombies. Just present single or accumulated receipts worth P1,500 to claim a wrist passport  to enter the maze .The wrist passport also serves as the ticket for the trick-or-treating activity on October 30,2016.



In the Zombie Apocalypse,zombies are roaming around the mall.Take your most creative selfie with any of the official zombies and post it on social media with the hashtag #TWDxSouthmall. The 10 best selfies will win SM gift certificates. On October 30,2016 ,come in as your favorite The Walking Dead character and get a chance to win SM gift certificates.


The Walking Dead Halloween Special is just one of the many exciting activities of SM Southmall. This November,watch out for the Christmas launch of  " The Tale of the Winter Forest " and Christmas performances of selected schools in tjebSouth area.

I'm a huge fan of The Walking Dead thats why i was so excited to experience the trill of being chase by the zombies.I enjoyed and I screamed a lot inside the maze. Its a really a one of a kind experience., thinking . .ohh I'm one of the characters in The Walking Dead.

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

  Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course!
