According to playwright George Bernard Shaw, "there is no sincerer love than the love for food".
With all the restaurants in the metro, we may have tried some of it and still a lot to discover, different cuisines, taste, and styles in serving their best sellers. My goal is to find these restaurants together with other foodies from the Metro.
Is a small shop located on the ground floor of SMDC Sea Residences in Macapagal Ave just across the Golden Phoenix Hotel, This place is mostly visited by foreign nationalities who are staying in near the area. One thing that caught my attention is the price and the food serving. I'm a noodle person and this one is just perfect to start my day. So we arrive their almost lunch time. The place has a few visitors that time. thank goodness it was not packed.
I ordered the Pad Thai which is one of the famous noodle dishes in Thailand. consists of flat rice noodles, it has some tofu, small dried shrimp, wansuy, bean sprouts, kuchai and some egg, roasted peanuts and fried garlic on top with tamarind sauce which makes the taste a bit unique. It has a mild flavor than other Pad Thai that I've tried before. The rice noodles are not soggy and perfectly cooked. perfect while steaming hot!

Mixed Thai Noodles
If you love noodle soup, then this is the perfect dish for you to order in Sen Lek. They also use the flat rice noodles top with some veggies, beef, pork balls, chicken balls and Sen Lek Thai signature soup base. The soup is great so make sure to eat it while it is hot.Enjoy a bowl of it for only Php 125.00 per serving
Darwin's Dimsum Hongkong Special
I stayed in HongKong for almost 3 years and dumplings are part of my everyday meal. Dumpling in Hongkong can be bought everywhere even in the smallest food vendor in the street, What makes me excited about visiting Darwins is that they take the Dumplings to the next level. This is where you can buy the Hello Kitty Custard Bun, Panda Vegetables Bun, and Hello Kitty Hakaw which is too cute to eat. They also serve Siomai, Xiao Long Bao, and other dim sum.
Address: Ground Floor, SM Jazz Mall N. Garcia st. Makati
RYU RAMEN AND CURRY
This place serves a big bowl of hot ramen which I think its good for two people. If I'm not mistaken Ryu ramen & Curry is owned by the singer-composer Ogie Alcasid. This place can accommodate 50 people. We tried some of their specialties, from ramen to rice bowls and tempura. Let's start with the noodles, the broth or the soup base is thick and rich which is a bit overwhelming for me, Charsiu is soft and tender, better to eat it as soon as they serve it.
The Rice Bowls are great, the rice is perfectly steamed, the chicken and pork meat are tender, the gravy or the sauce on top was mild in flavor and so thick. Tempura, the dumplings/gyosa/ is one of my favorite thing to order is a ramen house.

Mister Kebab
Kebab is a piece of meat, vegetables or fish that are roasted or grilled. Mister Kebab is a casual dining restaurant that focuses on Mediterranean cuisine. We tried some of their best sellers, Keema which is ground beef that was well marinated and seasoned, I think it was great to pair with their basmati rice. Shawarma Plate, it's like the usual shawarma that you know but the ground beef that they use is much better than other shawarma house it was all meat, not much fat. I recommended that you should try their Chicken, Beef and Lamb Kebab which is so juicy and tender, the person who managed the Mister Kebab said that they marinated it with their secret seasoning.
Finding new restaurants is like finding new friends, you should have some common interests and that is how you will find the best restaurants in the Metro.
