Andok's #Hour Mama: Uninterrupted bonding time with Mother

Her patience is incomparable, she takes care of her families like there is no tomorrow, Our moms, their warm love that no one can replace.

Can you still remember the last time that you spent quality time with your mom? You may have greeted her Happy Mother's day on Facebook or sent her a heart emoticon on your phone, but have you took time to make her feel how special she is? Like greeting her personally and spending the whole day with her?

Guilty? well you're not the only one, and this is the same reason why the company like Andok's initiated the Andok’s champions lasting memories this Mother’s Day with #HourMama campaign
This question and our tendency to be overly connected to technology led to popular Litson Manok chain, Andok’s to take a back-to-basics observance of Mother’s Day.

This year, Andok’s seeks to inspire families to disconnect from their mobile devices and create lasting memories with their mothers on their special day.

Dubbed as #HourMama, Andok’s campaign seeks to encourage people to dedicate at least an hour for some uninterrupted bonding time with their mother.

“Over the years, we have seen technology successfully bridge various gaps in inhuman experience. However, we tend to be so excited with the advancements and the connections we can make from afar that we forget to give the gift of being present to our loved ones who are right beside us,”   shared   Maverick   Javier, Executive Vice President of Andok’s Litson Corporation.

“This inspired us to encourage everyone to take an hour of their time to take a step back, look around, and create new core memories with the people around them. And we thought it is best to kick-off this campaign by sharing new memories with our mothers on their special day.”

The campaign kicks off at Andok’s branch in Makati Avenue where customers and guests go offline from an hour and connect with the mothers in the restaurant.
The branch’s Wi-Fi will go WaFi (Walang WiFi) as the restaurant’s wireless internet connection shuts down during this hour. Fueling these personal and live interactions among families is the signature taste of Andok’s offerings, allowing the families to punctuate their connections with Andok’s iconic dishes.

“Andok’s has always been about doing things with heart and appreciation.   With #HourMama, we aim to not just have a heart-to-heart connection with our valued customers but to build meaningful relationships and memories within families. We are hoping this activity will pave the way to more observances of #HourMama as our fellow Filipinos spend more quality and uninterrupted time with their moms, even beyond Mother’s Day. Of course, this is best done with the offerings of Andok’s that we've all come to know and love,” adds Javier.

Everyone was also encourage to join the campaign on Mother’s Day by taking a photo with their mothers after a dedicated offline hour and posting it using in social media using the hashtag #HourMama.

Actually, I always have quality time with my mother every weekend. My mother is 77 years old and is diagnosed as having Alzheimer's Disease. She stays with my brother. Every weekend, we spend it with her, we go to mass, eat at her favorite fastfood chain, Jollibee and go back to her house and just talk. They say that more talk can delay the memory loss. I think it's true. That is how we spend our Sundays.

Staycation at Bosay Hotel and Resort in Antipolo

After a gruesome week at work, I was able to spend my off with my family and we decided to have a staycation, with some recommendations from my colleagues and friends, we chose to stay in Bosay Resort in Antipolo.

Although I have read some bad review, we decided to still pursue to see what they have to offer since the place is pretty accessible by commute or by car.

We stayed in their hotel for 2 days and 1 night and here's what I can say with the experience that we had with Bosay Hotel & Resort.

First of all, I am proud to say that I am really impressed with their customer service. It was superb, we were assisted from the time we arrived, during our check-in process and their staff is really courteous.

The staff who assisted us on our way to the hotel even spent the time to explain details about the resort and its facilities, and I can say that their employees are really knowledgeable about what their resort has to offer.

Upon arrival at the Hotel lobby, it has a relaxing am…

Maxicare Opens Their Newest Primary Care Center in BGC

How great it is to know that Maxicare opened their first and newest Primary Care Center and will be open 24/7.

In this kind of day, it's a smart idea to have a healthcare card. My family has been a member of Maxicare for almost 5 years now. Maxicare is one of the best HMO providers that we trust. They have been providing health care services since 1987.

As Maxicare Healthcare Corporation celebrates their 30th Anniversary they opened the first and newest Primary Care Center (PCC ) in Bonifacio Global City ( BGC) in Taguig City. True to its words Maxicare only wants to provide superior and quality healthcare maintenance and ensure the satisfaction of their customers/members.

The new Maxicare Primary Care Center will be ready to serve their 1.1 Million Filipino members to provide a more convenient way for their Maxicare health benefits. The PCC will be operating 24/7.
This is a good news to all the members especially to BPO employees who work near the vicinity as they can seek fast me…

Rebisco Cracker’s Pasobra Pack makes snack time more meaningful

Enjoying a snack or sharing your food to your friend or love ones is very common to Filipinos. But sometimes eating what our body needs like healthy food is one of the things we often take for granted because of the lifestyle that we have.

But for many Filipino children and their families, access to nutritious meals is a constant struggle. Satisfying hunger is one thing; ensuring that the food is nourishing is another challenge altogether. This nutrition gap can lead to deficiencies that deprive a growing child’s body of proper nutrients needed for growth and brain development.

According to data from UNICEF, two of the main micronutrient deficiencies are iron and iodine. Iodine is vital for normal growth and tissue development. Lack of iodine can contribute to brain damage that is otherwise preventable. It is most devastating during fetal development and the first few years of a child’s life.

Iron helps carry oxygen around the body, and is especially vital for the brain and blood. Ir…
