Tips on how to spot a really good pizza

If there is one comfort food that we Filipinos love, then that would be pizza! Who can resist the irresistible smell and taste of pizza? the scent of cheese and tomato sauce with all the toppings tempting all your senses. Did that make you hungry? Well, that made me crave for a pizza right now.

But do you know that pizza is more than just the toppings? So what makes our all-time favorite pizza stand out from the others? Fret not because the good thing is, every barkada's favorite pizza chain, Greenwich has given several insider tips on how to spot a really good pizza.

1.    All-in toppings
Let’s be honest, the sight, smell, and of course, the taste of a pizza that’s overloaded with toppings has always been tempting. While it’s true that you can top it off with whatever basic ingredient you want, a pizza becomes even more delicious if it’s generously sprinkled with the tastiest and meatiest toppings. Imagine enjoying a pizza that has all of your favorite meaty toppings like ham, pepperoni, burger crumbles, bacon, Italian sausage, and Spanish sausage, plus additional ingredients to complement the taste such as veggies, pineapples, mushrooms and cheese – that’s all-in flavor in one crust like the new Greenwich All-In Overload Pizza. A favorite of actor Enrique Gil, the All-in Overload is packed with the meatiest ingredients that are an explosion of flavor with every bite.

2.    The dough has it
Contrary to what most people think, the pizza crust is more than just a base for the toppings. It actually sets the initial flavor base and texture of the entire pizza. This is why Greenwich really pays attention to the dough they use for the crust, which is important to a pizza fan like Robi Domingo. Unlike the ready-made crusts you see in the supermarket, Greenwich goes all out by preparing their dough from scratch daily, using only the best ingredients. Since the crust is made fresh every day, you can be assured that each crust has the right texture and is flavorful down to the last millimeter. If you like to munch down on pizza to the very tip like Robi, then the taste, texture, and heft of each crust matters! No leftover crusts here!

3.    Best shared with the barkada
Some things are just better when shared – and pizza certainly tops that list. It’s not because the dish is too filling, or the quantity can become too overwhelming for one person, but some dishes like pizza are just more fun to eat when the entire barkada is in tow! Sharing a pizza that’s overloaded with toppings, flavor and that unmistakable pizza goodness with friends is enjoyable because it heightens the experience you have with each bite. Especially when you want to unwind with the darling of your barkada like Yassi Pressman, sharing an overloaded pizza while you’re chillin’ makes barkada time even more fun. #BarkadaGoals unlocked!

Of course, it would be better if you could test your pizzanatomy know-how on an actual pizza, like Greenwich’s new All-in Overload. The All-in Overload is loaded with six kinds of meat: ham, pepperoni, bacon, Italian sausage, burger crumbles, and Spanish sausage plus veggies, cheese, pineapples, and mushrooms. This deliciously satisfying pizza has everything you would want in a pizza and is just right for the entire barkada.

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
