5 Unusual ways to enjoy your fast food

Ever get tired of your typical burgers or fried chicken combo?

For whatever reason, everyone eventually gives in and orders their usual food at their go-to fast food joints. But what if there’s a nifty way to upgrade your fast food experience? With Popeyes’ menu items, you can come up with insane fast food hybrids that you could never imagine would pair well together, but somehow do. All you need is a little creativity and an adventurous palate.

Beat the food rut and try out these combinations at Popeyes for new and weirdly delicious fast food discoveries.

1. Cajun rice + creamy crab soup

Starting off the list is a combo that will surely spice up your meal. Just imagine – a bowl of flavorful and slightly spicy rice mixed into a thick and savory crab soup. All of those ingredients, spices, and aromatics coming together to give you a delicious mashup with distinctive Cajun flavors. Rice lovers out there will surely go bonkers for this one.

2. Classic honey biscuit + ice cream

Okay, so you might be thinking, isn’t this just an ice cream sandwich? Well, you clearly haven’t tried Popeye’s biscuits. The distinct salty, sweet and buttery taste of the Classic Honey Biscuit along with your personal choice of ice cream is a must-try. Just cut up your biscuit right down the middle and slather in some of your favorite ice cream, and you’ve got an explosion of mouth goodness just waiting to happen. You can even choose from their chocolate, caramel, or strawberry sundaes.

3. Fish Burger + Shrimp Burger

For those of you who can’t get enough of seafood, the fish burger + shrimp burger will surely satisfy that craving. Just order one of each burger and stack the patties, effectively making one beast of a burger. The excess buns can be dipped into Popeyes’ creamy crab soup, the perfect side to this seafood-centric entrée.

4. Cajun fries + Popeyes spaghetti sauce

Fries, they’re universally considered perfect. They’re great on their own and they can also be paired with almost anything. So how do we take it up a notch? Take that leftover spaghetti sauce from Popeyes’ sweet, savory and cheesy Spaghetti, which is exclusive to the Philippines, and dip your crispy Cajun fries and try it out. Be careful though, you might not be able to go back to eating fries the normal way ever again.

5. Popeyes Chicken + Honey

We’re ending this list with a bang! A bang of Cajun spices and sweet honey to be exact. If you’re tired of the usual chicken + gravy combo, then Popeyes chicken with a dash of honey is just the thing for you. The sweetness of the honey balances the distinct Cajun flavors that you can only get with Popeyes chicken, making this combo a delightfully tasty meal. The best thing is you won’t have to order biscuits to get that sweet honey as they now have ala-carte honey packets in the menu!

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
