Taste The Ultimate Lechon Belly at KING BELLY

King Belly Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

Recently, We've been to Marikina to try a fast food chain called "King Belly".
Located just beside Marikina Riverbanks, the store opened last November 2016 giving tasty and heartwarming meals to every family and diners.

The location has the view of the riverbanks and you can also eat outside to appreciate the place further. After the food was served, the first thing that I tried was their lechon belly, being the main attraction of the store, their lechon belly is more than just a front liner, this is the fruit of all the experience of the owner being a corporate chef and a dash of dreams and vision for better food. on my journey of tasting the boneless lechon belly I can immediately say that it was bursting with flavor and I can also say that it was the ultimate LECHON BELLY I tasted, the aroma was very tempting, not to mention the flavor of the pork belly that makes you want more. and when the say BONELESS LECHON BELLY, it really means "BONELESS", you won't need to worry of any bones coming of the belly anytime in your mouth.

Made with their own spices, you can definitely see the difference of King Belly's Boneless Lechon Belly with other Lechon Bellies in the Metro.

Here are some of my observations:
◼ it was cooked into perfection
◼ crispy skin and juicy meat
◼ aroma
◼ bursting in flavor
◼ perfect even with no sauce

LECHON SINIGANG

After tasting their Boneless Lechon Belly the next thing I've tried is their "Sinigang na Lechon", on the first sip I immediately noticed the taste of the soup is not the same sinigang that I usually tasted, the sourness is just right with the lechon enhancing the taste together with the vegetables that has been carefully cooked making sure that it was not soggy completing the experience if you pair it with a cup of rice.

LECHON SISIG

You think that's all? we've just started, the next dish that I tasted was their "Lechon Sisig", I am very picky when it comes to sisig and I hate it when an ingredient that was used overpowers the other, but with this sisig, I was amazed that everything was blended without overpowering the other ingredient, the sisig was not too crispy and not too tender, not spicy, with a kick of onion and topped with mayo, releasing the full flavor that I am looking for.

CHICKEN INASAL

Another one of their best seller is their "Chicken Inasal", we all know that there is a fast food chain that already offers Chicken Inasal as their Frontliner but then, wait until you tried the "Chicken Inasal of king Belly", no more of beating around the bush, this exceeded my expectation may be better than what their competitor offers, the chicken was marinated with all the flavors still present on every bite and it was grilled to perfection not "charred" or burnt, perfectly with the chicken oil and UNLIMITED RICE.

Last but not the least is the "king Belly's Pancit", the perfect teammate of all this dishes, it was topped with crispy lechon skin, with the geneopus serving mixed with vegetables that will complete the experience of the real Filipino pancit that you are looking for.

with all that food we have tasted, you may be asking, is the food affordable?

Definitely, it was, their food price  starts at an eye popping 48 pesos for their rice bowls and if you want a more sulit deal, why not try their solo or unlimited deals which is 98 pesos for solo and 128 pesos for their unlimited rice meals that you can choose from Lechon belly, Chicken Inasal, Lechon Sinigang, Pork BBQ (2 sticks), Inihaw na Liempo, Lechon Paksiw, Boneless Bangus and Lechon Sisig.

If you wantged to go on a bigger serving of their lechon belly, you can choose from 1/4 kg for 195 php, 390 php for 1/2 Kg or 780 php for 1 kg.

I am very glad that my family and I have enjoyed our dining experience at King Belly and it was really worth the travel and share of experience.

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
