Bounty Fresh Promotes the Health Benefits of Eggs

Can Egg be bad for your health?
This is one of the misconceptions about eggs. When I was in high school I was only allowed to consume an egg once a week, my grandma said it can cause skin allergy and it is high in cholesterol. I grew up in this thinking that consuming too much egg can harm our health.

But this misconception about eggs was all cleared when I attended the Bounty Fresh Egg World Day 2017 celebration held at the Atrium, Eastwood Mall. The event promotes the health benefits of eggs, cooking demos, and fun activities.

Ms. Bettina Carlos

Health Benefits of EGGS

Ms.Ailyn Kuan Del Rio

I learned that eggs consistently raise HDL, this is the "good cholesterol" and based on the studies, healthy people can consume up to three whole eggs per day.
Eggs are also an affordable and good source of protein. It is also rich in Vitamins D, B2, B6, B12, and minerals such as Iron, Zinc, Copper, and Choline.
And if you are familiar with the Egg Diet this is also true. The egg can really aid weight loss and maintenance. It is also helpful during the pregnancy period. It can help improve eyesight and promote healthier skin.

My understanding of eggs is quite the contrary and incredibly unhealthy... Check out this link for example: http://www.med.mcgill.ca/epidemiology/hanley/c609/articles/EggyolkPlaqueSmoking.pdf

Not to mention the animal cruelty :(
