DTI Go Lokal! and City Mall Teams Up To help MSME's Nationwide

"Wag maging dayuhan sa sariling bayan",
We usually hear this phrase and even in some commercials. In reality, most of us Filipinos would prefer "IMPORTED" goods more than our local products, admit it or not, it has been a custom for quite some time. We may not be aware but some goods from the Philippines are being exported and labeled outside of our country and being imported back our country at a higher price.
I grew up in the province where I normally see local produce from farmers being bought at a really low price and being sold at the market at a high price, back then I hoped of a place where farmers or locals can sell their goods at a better price and proud of whatever products that they have.

Recently the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI ) and  Double Dragon Properties Inc teams up for the development of MSME's. Go Lokal! shops is a Filipino Concept Store that showcases high quality and innovative Philippine products. Last November 25, CityMall and DTI opened GO LOKAL! shops in Citymall Anabu- Imus Cavite. Go Lokal shops feature locally made products from different town and cities nationwide. DTI's  Go Lokal program project aims to help all the micro, small and medium enterprises ( MSME's) from various regions of the Philippines.

As a fellow Filipino, I encourage everyone to support and buy our own products and help our MSME's and the crafted product to be well-known not only here in the Philippines but also in other countries.
