Yung super yung budget na ginagawa nating mga nanay ngayon dahil marami sa atin an No Work, No Pay. Kaya ang ginagawa ko kung ano ablng available na pwede iluto sa kusina yun nalang muna ang ginagawa ko. Kailan patin kase naten pakainin ng masustansyang pagakain ang ating pamilya lalo na sa panahon ng pandemic. Nakakatuwa na meron mga tao, na lagi handang tumulong sayo kahit hindi ka magsabi. Meron pa ako nakita na isang hiwa ng kalabasa , na bigay ng kapitbahay, at meron din 1 pa na natitira na canned tuna in flakes in oil na galing naman sa relief pack na bigay ng barangay. . Pwede na ito lutuin para sa hapunan namin ngayon. Sayang wala na ang malunggay sa kapitbahay namin, nakalbo na hahaha.
Healthy Pumpkin Rice with Tuna Flakes
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of rice
1 canned tuna flakes in oil
1 cup/ slice of kalabasa/ pumpkin
1 onion ( minced )
1 small ginger ( minced )
2 1/2 cups of water
1 tsp of turmeric
salt and pepper
2 tbsp oil

Procedure:
Heat a medium size pan , add oil
Saute the ginger until fragrant
Add the 1/4 cup of minced onion
Then add the 1 cup of rice. Mix well.
Add the sliced pumpkin /kalabasa
Put enough water to cover the rice . Bring to boil then put it to low heat.
Then add the 1 cup of rice. Mix well.

Add the turmeric, season wothswoth and pepper to taste
Add the flaked tuna and wait until the rice is cooked
I also add some dried rosemary ( optional )
