How we rebuild everything from scratch

There are certain events in life that come unexpectedly that sometimes even if we have been so prepared, we are still caught off guard, and it is always an ease of worries if you have a someone that you can count on.

With this being said, it's always good to remember those people and places that stood with us during those tough times in our life. As they say, it is in those rough times that you’ll know who stays by your side as you rebuild everything from scratch.

I'll be sharing to you one of the hardest life challenges that we've encountered.

Few years back, a huge fire engulfed our home and burnt down everything to ashes. I can still clearly remember how it was like waking up from this nightmare.

That time we are almost going to bed. I, my 1 year old son, my 12 yrs old cousin, my grandma and my great grandma was the only people that time in our house when the fire started.
My grandma only took her small bag and small size envelope then we left our house. Waiting for the firetruck and rescue team.

We literally started from scratch, fortunately, my grandmother saved some of her jewelry before the fire consumed our home, I remember her saying how it would help us in this kind of situation.

As we all try to contribute in rebuilding our home, my mom need to wait for her salary and my aunts tried borrowing money which gave them too much hassle as Personal Identifications were required and most of those were included on the fire.

We never really intend to have our grandmother’s jewelry to be made as collateral especially we know how she took care of it and as we all heard of horror stories in pawning jewelry.

Some of our relatives recommended Cebuana Lhuillier that time for pawning jewelry, and how they have higher appraisals for jewelry which mean higher take-home money for items being pawned.

It was something that we did not regret as we were able to get a high appraisal for my grandmother’s jewelry with Cebuana Lhuillier and we were able to start rebuilding and I also learned that aside from 10k to 24k gold jewelries they also accept platinum, diamonds, and recently I heard that they also accept gadgets and gift certificates.

Most of us may have the perception that pawning is always the last resort, but this should not be the case, pawning can help us in a lot of ways, and we can also ensure that our precious jewelry is well taken care of, especially with Cebuana Lhuillier.

😥 I feel this story. That time hndi ko alam kung san kami magsisimula.

Tigdas/Measles: Mga Sintomas, Pagkain at Lunas

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
