3 Important Reasons Why You Should Save Money

Whenever payday arrives, almost all of us becomes a one-day-millionaire, we buy what we want, what we need and pay what we need to pay with our hard-earned money.  That is one reason why most of us live by payday to payday.

It is rewarding to get the gadget that you aim for or fulfill that vacation that you have been planning for a year or those cool sneakers whom you've saved money for months in your trusty piggy bank.

But while self-reward is vital, some tend to overdo this at the expense of the need to save.

You don't need to attend seminars or become a financial advisor for you to know the importance of saving for your future and whatever unexpected, while it seems that we only have enough money to get by every payday, it does not hurt to sacrifices a few our "wants" to save for what we need and gain financial freedom.

Pasta comes in different shapes and sizes but whatever it is no one can keep us away from loving it whether it be a red or white sauce, Italian, Filipino Style, Pesto or in any way you like it pasta will be a Filipino favorite.

Speaking of pasta, aside from our regular favorites, this pasta has been a favorite of a lot of Filipino, and this is Lasagna, a delightful pasta dish oozing with multiple layers of meat and sauce on every layer of pasta and cheese, giving every bite a wonderful experience.

But what makes lasagna so special? The Greenwich Lasagna Supreme, for instance, an all-time favorite of actress and Greenwich kabarkada Yassi Pressman, has four delicious elements that make it so hard to resist.

It's beefy. One of the secrets to a great lasagna is in the meat. Greenwich uses high-quality ground beef that is perfectly simmered, browned and delicately flavored with spices to release its juicy and beefy flavors. If cooked correctly like the way Greenwich does it, the beef fl…

Fresh and Affordable Seafood at SouthSide Grill Las Pi├▒as

Recently, I have been craving for some seafood, particularly crabs, prawns, and mussels. This craving brought me to the newest seafood place in the south, The South Side Grill.

Located at Manila Doctors Village in Las Pinas City, very accessible and just near SM South Mall, The South Side Grill is a Resto-Bar that offers delicious and fresh seafood on their menu, I usually bring anti-histamine with me whenever I have to eat seafood since I tend to have an allergic reaction if the served any seafood that is not fresh, but I didn't need to worry about it since what they serve is really fresh.

Here are some of the food that I would say you must try:

čö╣Singaporean Chili Shrimps
For all of you who loves a twist and spice on your food, this one is for you. Enjoy your shrimps on a spicy level that is still tolerable that will make you sweat while you munch.

čö╣Inihaw Platter

Clever habits to manage leftovers

Too many leftovers? Manage them by using some of these clever habits.

We always talk about recycling, conserving and going green, but is that really what is happening?

It all starts at home. When I was a kid, we were taught that every grain of rice is important since this is the sweat of every farmer just to have it consumed on our table, we barely have any leftovers then.
But as they say, times change, we wanted more, more than what we consume, what we need.  Did you know that every year, roughly one-third of the food produced for human consumption? Around 1.3 billion tons gets wasted, says a report released by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations (UN).

Some of these food items, fruits, and vegetables, plus roots and tubers, have the highest wastage rates.
Similarly, food wastage is becoming a public concern in the Philippines, especially that every day, the country discards around 987,952 kg of rice, a staple in every Filipino meal, according to the lat…
