Safeguarding our Future made possible for everyone

Life is unpredictable, unforeseen events like accidents and sickness are just around the corner, they can happen anytime and can catch you off-guard. Just as Stephen King said, “there's no harm in hoping for the best as long as you're prepared for the worst.”

Many of us are ignoring the importance of insuring ourselves and our future. The most common reason is money. We may be decided to get ourselves insured but with all the expenses that we have every day, it becomes least of our priority.

This is a common scenario to a regular Filipino worker who earns minimum-wage which is just enough to bring food on the table, and a lot of us are on the same page.

The second reason is trust. A lot of companies offering insurance often sound too good to be true, or we have heard stories from our friends and discouraging us to get insurance, so instead of having fewer worries during times of crisis, we end up stressed out.

This is what is happening right now. With the outbreak of the new Corona Virus or so-called COVID-19, everyone was caught off-guard, with different people in all walks of life who are all vulnerable to this pandemic, no one is being spared and can be a victim of this deadly virus.

As of writing, we have 490,271 Confirmed Cases of the said virus 22,156 Deaths around the world which is a mortality rate of 4.4%. The novel coronavirus was declared by the World Health Organization as a Global Pandemic.

To contain the spread of  virus, our government declared an enhanced community quarantine to the entire country to protect everyone, but this resulted in many Filipinos unable to go to work, which lowered their income resulting in them not able to buy what they need for their families.

For some of us who were able to save money and have medical coverage or insurance, the impact was not that hard, but not everyone was lucky enough to save and anticipate.

This scenario is one of the things that Country Bankers Insurance Corporation is trying to avoid, they consider the situation of employees who are just earning enough to support their families, so with their product like, CB IPON, and ALALAY SA BUHAY that they can choose fromeven the low income generating people like vendors, farmers, minimum wage earners can afford to be insured.

that's true Momsh if we are only prepared for the worst. This pandemic crisis causing us to panic. I also have that same hesitations like getting an insurance is least of our priority due to not enough income and trust issues. If my memory serves me right, there's a company which offers educ plan/insurance na nagsara kaya nakakatakot sumugal knowing na we earned enough lang. Alalay sa Buhay is affordable na and we should consider getting one for unforeseen incidents para di rin maging burden sa loveones behind. For CB Ipon naman, affordable payment scheme kasi deductable sa salary so okay eto din, di maramdaman masyado and sure enough for situations like this na we don't anticipate eh may maaasahan tayo. Thanks for sharing Momsh.

One to invest from this time talaga ang insurance.

Everyone knows why life insurance is important, but many of us choose to ignore the reality of what would happen if we were to die suddenly without the proper protection .

Tigdas/Measles: Mga Sintomas, Pagkain at Lunas

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
