Zark's : Taking Your Burger Experience To The Next Level

“We did a study and found out that during that time, walang casual dining burger joint. So, I filled the gap sa market, yung need sa market na I think may potential mag scale up. Hindi naman ako nagkamali. Sinimulan ko yung Zark’s.”, Zark recalls.
Young entrepreneur, Rolandrei Viktor “Zark” Varona, found the middle ground in offering hamburgers that truly satisfy even the most gargantuan appetites, yet at prices that do not break the bank.
It began eight years ago on a casual stroll along the Malate area, Zark discovered a vacant 20-sqm. commercial space along Taft Avenue. At that time, the former OFW, who had just concluded a two-year stint in the kitchens of a cruise ship already owning a franchise for a noodle shop that unfortunately did not work. After six months, he revisited the spot and knew that the location held much potential. The concentration of a young market gave him the idea to put up a burger joint. Everything was history!

How does Marian Rivera make Garantisadong Ginisarap dishes?

Marian  Rivera-Dantes  is  used  to  playing  different  characters:  Primetime Queen,  recording  artist,  brand  ambassador,  style  icon,  and  philanthropist. But  her  favorite  roles  by  far  have  been  those  behind  the  camera:  as  wife  to Dingdong  and  mom  to Baby  Zia. As  a  modern  homemaker,  who  manages  her  time  between  work  and family,  Marian  has  found  comfort  in  cooking  as  one  of  the  best  ways  to make  her  family  feel  loved  and  to  improve  her  culinary  skills.

On  her  social media  pages,  the  Kapuso  actress  has  posted  some  of  her  own  culinary creations  that  range  from  baby  food  for  little  Zia,  stews,  soups,  and veggies.  And  on  days  when  Marian  is  short  on  time,  stir-fry  dishes  have become  her  go-to  choices  for  easy,  yummy  meals.

Topping  her  stir-fry  list  are  Chopsuey  and  Fried  Rice  made  with  AJI-GINISA® Flavor  Seasoning  Mix,  as  seen  in  the  seasoning’s  two  new  TVCs  which b…

Manila has been famous not only because of the beautiful places but also because of our unique style of cooking. Fast food, Buffet restaurant, and cafes are coming out like mushrooms. everywhere in the country, Some people dine in fast food thinking that they save money. For me, I still miss my mom's homecooked meal. I can say that home cooked meal is still the best. During my #tkmadventure in Quezon City. I found this new cafe named 5 Loaves & 2 Fish located in GF The Rock, Holy Spirit Drive. The owner who thinks that providing good food that are cooked from the heart not only provide food for the tummy but also for the soul.

The interior and design of the cafe gives a comfy feeling.  It's like your home away from home. This place is best if you want to treat yourself to good food, chill out with family or friends or if you just want to have your "me" time.

Why is the cafe named 5 Loaves and 2 Fish?  the nam…

TKM Adventure in Rizal: A Visit To The Art Capital of The Philippines

"ART is not what you see, but what you make others see" - Edgar Degas

I'm feeling under the weather since last week. So when I received an invitation to explore the Art Capital of the Philippines which is  Angono Rizal, I immediately said "Yes!" I once heard that ART is a reflection of life. This is one of the reasons why I love to look at a painting. I want to know what is the artist's message using his/her paintbrush and canvas.
From our meeting place in Makati to Angono, Rizal it took us about 1 hour and a half to our first destination.
