Filipinos love Rice that's why most of us are shocked and some were enraged when a senator mentioned about restricting unlimited rice promotions from restaurants, which the said senator also clarified that unlimited rice will not be banned. Based on the study, the person who eats more serving of white rice has a greater risk of developing a type 2 diabetes. White rice is low in fiber but ranks high in glycemic index (GI )that can cause a sudden spike in blood sugar level. The form of diabetes is linked to growing numbers of obesity.
