Rep. Rida Robes: A Dedicated Mom and Breastfeeding Advocate

Breastfeeding is essential for your child's health and wellness, not only that breastmilk has the right nutrients that your child needs for them to build their immune system, it will also help their body fight viruses and bacteria.

Aside from being beneficial for your child, breastfeeding also benefits us, moms, as it reduces the risk of breast cancer and creates a deeper bond with our little one.

While not all moms have the ability to breastfeed their child due to medical reasons, this brings the need for more human milk banks in the country to reach all the moms who need support in giving their babies breastmilk.

In taking a step of making it possible, San Jose Del Monte Bulacan  Congresswoman Rida Robes who is also a breastfeeding supporter is planning to put up a human milk bank that will help mothers in Bulacan especially those with infants that are in emergencies that needs milk. This program will also encourage breastfeeding moms to donate their breast milk.

6 Foods that Trigger Premenstrual Syndrome

Premenstrual Syndrome or PMS is a bunch of symptoms that even the strongest women would usually face several days before that time of the month. Feeling totally frazzled and waking up with a different kind of fatigue is a reality, a zit on the nose that wasn’t there a night before. And oh, those tender breasts plus the soreness and heaviness. Worst, you can’t stop thinking about that fudgy chocolate cake you saw on Instagram!

According to Anne Price, a Certified Holistic Health Coach, an average woman experiences PMS 450 times in her lifetime. While hormones play a part in these biological changes, there’s a way how to manage it by avoiding these foods that are likely to alleviate the symptoms.

Kwentong Jollibee “Garapon” celebrates grandparents’ selflessness

Grandparents often play a vital role in the lives of their grandchildren. With a love that equals that of parents, they strive to give their apos (grandchildren) everything they can offer despite their frail health or limited resources.

This Grandparents’ Day, Jollibee celebrates the selflessness and unconditional love of lolos and lolas for their apos in “Garapon”, the newest video installment in the award-winning Kwentong Jollibee series.

Directed by Sheron Dayoc, “Garapon” narrates the story of how a grandmother sets aside any amount she can just to give her grandson something that would make him happy.

“For Filipinos, grandparents are the treasures of the family. While they may sometimes appear as strict, they give us exceptional love and guidance in such a way parents simply can’t. This is something that the younger generations can learn to appreciate from their lolos and lolas,” said Francis Flores, Jollibee Global Brand Chief Marketing Officer and Jollibee Philippines Marketin…

Fish Steak Recipe ( Milkfish )

Bangus or Milkfish is very popular because of the distinct taste of its meat and belly fat which melts in your mouth especially on how it compliments the ingredients on whatever dish that you made from it, may it be fried, with sauce or placed on a soup, you can never go wrong with it.

I love making different dishes using Bangus since this is my husband and daughter's favorite. With this same reason why I am meticulous whenever I buy Bangus, I make sure that it is fresh and I always buy it from my trusted vendors.

Not all the time our favorite fish is available, but there are no worries for me since I am sure that Sarangani Bay Prime Bangus is available at our favorite supermarkets and I can make sure that their products are packed fresh and also export-quality.

I am one of the satisfied consumers of their products and my family loves their Marinated Bangus especially my daughter who can eat almost one serving of it.

Aside from their Marinated Bangus, we also love their smoked Mi…

Hakab Na! 2019: Empower parents, enable breastfeeding

Breastfeeding is more than just a way for you to feed your child, this is your connection with them, a bond that no one can match and a way for moms to show affection and warmth to their little ones. With this being said, breastfeeding awareness is necessary to let everyone know of its importance and how it can help your child and you develop an unbreakable bond.

I've been supporting the breastfeeding community since before, I encourage soon to be moms and moms with 0-2 years old child to breastfeed. Breastmilk is important especially to newborn babies, it has a lot of nutrients that will help the babies to grow strong and healthier.

I breastfed my daughter until she's 2 years old I noticed that does not easily get infected with viruses and other bacteria. That's why this year, I'm here again to support fellow mommies for breastfeeding awareness on how good and beneficial for both moms and the baby breastfeeding is.

Rediscover your favorites at SM City Manila Foodcourt

I had the opportunity to visit SM City Manila just recently and it has improved a lot from the time that I visited it a few years back. One of the things that I missed about this mall is its Food Court, very nostalgic.

SM City Manila, From the day it opened way back April 12, 2000, Natividad Almeda-Lopez corner A. Villegas and San Marcelino Streets, Ermita Manila just beside Manila City Hall became the mall where locals from Manila and students from near universities and colleges found their new place to hang out with family and friends.

Known for its accessibility for several public transportations and just beside Manila City Hall, it has been a known mall  for Manillennials and Millenials who prefer convenience in shopping and a place where they can make appointments with government offices like Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Land Transportation Office (LTO), MARINA for Seafarers and the like. It was a one-stop-shop where you can enjoy shopping, ease-of-access and of course d…
