Join the fun recipe contest and win GCs! I’ve noticed that more and more Filipinos are eating and including blueberries in their meals. I must admit, I’m a fan of blueberries myself! The enticing bluish-purple hue of this berry will surely catch your attention.   The balance of the sweet and tart makes blueberries perfect for desserts like cheesecakes, muffins, and ice cream, as well as jams, dressings, and sauces. Yummy treats to tickle the taste buds!   More than the taste, blueberries are low in calories but high in nutrients. A serving of raw blueberries, which is about 140 grams, only has 80 calories! A healthy and delicious way to snack.   Blueberries are excellent sources of manganese and Vitamin K for bone metabolism and development. They also provide vitamin C for a healthy immune system and dietary fiber for heart health.   Although fresh blueberries are only found in stores from May to September, we can still enjoy them in frozen and canned forms. I recommend blueberries f
