A new Popeyes is poppin’ at SM Southmall

Popeyes fried chicken which is packed with unique Cajun-inspired flavors from Louisiana is now in Las Piñas, visited the branch during its opening and checked it out if it is good from what I have been told.
I was able to try their signature juicy - but not greasy - Popeyes fried chicken while being serenaded by local indie band Sud who performed their soulful music during the opening, it was great!

After the success of Popeyes in Alabang, Popeyes is set to level up mall goers’ dining experience as it once again brings the world-famous Cajun flavors to the south!

“Our successful store openings have immensely motivated us to bring Popeyes to the heart of more Filipinos. With our SM Southmall store, we are excited to let shoppers enjoy our world-class chicken at their convenience,” said Ton Gatmaitan, the marketing director of Kuya…

Falafel Yo! will give free falafel for the whole day on January 4

Does anyone of you already tried Falafel? This is one of dish that vegetarian people would love to eat. I was able to try this doughnut-shaped patty when i was still working in Hong Kong. My boss really love beans for his diet. Anything made out from beans, we make sure to try it. It doesnt matter it its a new restaurant, or just an ordinary street vendor.

Falafel is made from chickpeas or beans with lots of minced onion and herbs that make it so flavorful. You will not noticed that there's no meat in there. You can eat Falafel  on its own but this is reay good to have  it as a main dish, serve with Pita Bread and some fresh lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes with a nice sauce in it.

What do you really know about falafel?

Falafel is very popular in Middle Eastern countries like Israel ,Syria and Egypt.

The origins of falafel is still a mystery. there’s no exact evidence where and when exactly the ancient vegetarian dish was born, but we can track some of it’s historical impact around …
