Shangri-La Finest Chinese Cuisine Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

When I was still working in Hong Kong, one of my favorite holidays is the Chinese New Year. aside from the fact that it was an additional off from work for me, it was also an opportunity for me to enjoy a wide variety Chinese Delicacies. This is one of the happiest days of the year were in we family gather together and enjoy a scrumptious meal.

Now that Chinese New Year is just around the corner, I've been trying to find a place that offers authentic Chinese Cuisine for me and my family to share this coming Chinese New Year.
After some suggestions and word of mouth, my journey brought me to a Chinese fine dining restaurant located in Times St. Quezon City, a well managed and established restaurant operating around 35 years now and the name of the restaurant is Shangri-La.

Shangri-La Finest Chinese Cuisine captures the rich heritage of food as exemplified in this special occasion.  With 35 years of exceptional food and excellent service, Shangri-La continues this tradition to this day with its all-time favorites like the Peking Duck, Sweet, and Sour Pork, and its very own version of the Pancit Canton.  If you fancy only the freshest, Shangri-La also offers a wide variety of seafood caught from its own aquarium.

Shangri-La can accommodate more than 1000 diners. From 40/ seating capacity now Shangri-la has 1,200 seats available for dining customer/patrons
Shangri-La has been serving families and guests with the best food that they can offer, and one of the most memorable guests that they had was Pope John Paul II during His 1995 visit for the World Youth Day.

I had an awesome dinner with friends in this place.
Food was great, the staff is all nice and the place is very accessible. Make sure to call for a reservation since the place is jam-packed.

Yee Sang " Prosperity Toss Salad "
This salad symbolizes prosperity and abundance.

Peking Duck is roasted to a perfect crisp and the meat was meticulously cut into thin slices and serve with hoisin sauce, green onions.  I suddenly miss my mom who usually orders Peking Duck in one of our favorite Chinese restaurant in North Point, Hong Kong for our lunch.
Is it time to go back and check out what's new and what's trendy in HK now or much better if I bring my mom here in Shangri-La?

I love trying out dumpling in every Chinese restaurant or food stops.
I heard that the more dumplings you eat during the Chinese New Year it will bring more luck and prosperity for the whole year.

Shangri-La Finest Chinese Cuisine is making the Chinese New Year more exciting and very special.Guest can Choose from any of their three-set menus, the Long Life, Happiness, and   Prosperity.  If you are really lucky, you may have a chance to feed one of our lucky lions during the Chinese New Year Celebration on February 16, 2018, at 6:00 PM. To complete the  Chinese New Year celebration there will be traditional Dragon Dance and an amazing Fireworks Display! Make sure to feed the lucky lions to have a prosperous year. And there's more, guest will also receive free gifts.

To be able to get the best seats during the Chinese New Year event, the guest should better or encourage to reserve their tables in advance.

The place is always jam-packed but it's good to see how this place makes the bonding moment of every family more memorable.

The Chinese New Year celebration is for everyone!  Make your way to Shangri-La Finest Chinese Cuisine for a one-of-a-kind, prosperity-filled Chinese New Year Celebration.

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
