Promil Four in Shaping the Gift to Build Tomorrow's Great

" Every child has the talent which can be a Gift if DISCOVERED and NURTURED early "
- Dr. Leticia Ho

As a mom, we always wish to have a child who is healthy, strong and intelligent. Sometimes I asked myself if I'm doing and giving the right thing that my child needs. In my previous post, I mentioned that being a mother is a continuous learning. It is great that there are brands like Promil who organize workshops and talks about parenting. During the Promil Four dubbed 'Shaping The World Tomorrows Great', speakers talked about the needs of every child. So how can a mom of a 5-year-old like I can nurture the gift?

The Promil Four event 'Shaping the Gift to Build Tomorrow's Greats' aims to educate parents the importance of building a strong foundation for our child's learning abilities.  Aside from the Promil Four Learning Camp they also emphasized how important the nutrition plays a vital role in supporting child's advanced learning abilities and for our child's brain development.
During the talks, I learned that it's best to nurture our child in their first 1000 days, starting with the mother's pregnancy. The first 1000 days is the most crucial times because this is the days wherein the child responds and adapts to different interventions.

Workshop for Mommies

YOGA CLASS

This physical activity focused on the importance of growth and strengthen the physical agility. It promotes multi-dimensional learning as you do balances and coordination, focus, concentration, mind, and body connection. It stimulates the body movement.

ART WORKSHOP

This is one of the activities that I really enjoyed. The instructor has really motivated us to do something nice without trying to make it perfect. I was able to paint a lovely flower while our facilitator is reciting a poem.

It was a mental activity that is developed to encourage recognition and memory. It helps a child 's memory to develop through storytelling and painting while doing the repetitive practices.

GIANT BLOCK GAME

The first instruction is to build a house without saying anything to each other, it means we are not allowed to talk but we can do hand gesture or body movement. It was hard but we are still able to finish the house. The 2nd time we are allowed to talk with our teammate while building the house, we finished it faster than our first try.

Is a social activity which focused the need for being socially adept for better learning. This imaginative game can promote strong leadership qualities for our children through their imagination, communication, and collaboration.

Nutri 10 Plus, Vitamins Perfect For Child's Growing Needs

Summer is already here. The temperature last week was 34°c and its getting hotter everyday. We have to open our windows to make sure that we won't get suffocated because of the heat. Summer is also the season of flu, bacteria that can cause cough and build up of phlegm. Kids should always be geared with proper protection. Their body needs protection from harmful diseases. That's why I was so thankful that I used Nutri 10 vitamins for my Chelsea. This is the kind of vitamins that she really need. For sure most of you know that Chelsea is a picky eater. She only eat if we have Sinigang or gravy that she put in her steamed rice. After taking Nutri 10 for almost a month now. I noticed some changes in her appetite and daily routine.  Before, Chelsea stays up until 2 am and wakes up around 11 am. Thankfully that routine changed and she also started to eat vegetables. As a mom I'm always worried because I know that she is not getting the right nutrients that her

A quick trip down holiday memory lane

Can you feel it? The cold breeze, holiday songs, festive decorations, and colorful lights and lanterns… it’s Christmas season, everybody! Filipinos are known to celebrate Christmas the longest – it starts with the BER months and ends in January. Along with parties and get-togethers, we also have different traditions to celebrate the yuletide season. Since I was a kid, I associated grapes and round fruits with the holiday season. My grandma used to buy a lot of grapes during the BER months and placed them on our table along with other fruits. The grapes were also hung on windows and doors to help bring in good fortune for the coming year. I remember her asking me who was eating the grapes as she noticed that they were slowly “disappearing” and I said it must have been my aunties and our cat. But… It was silly me all along, of course! My aunties ended up buying more, much to my delight.   For Christmas eve, my aunties and grandma would make their delicious fruit salad – a huge can of f
